Project Management Success Rates by Style

There’s always room for improvement, isn’t there?

Project managers by their very nature are involved in continuous change and constant improvement. A project management improvement project inside of an IT organization is an ideal way to make continuous improvement part of the organization.

The University of Wisconsin has put together a small system called the Project Management Advisor. In it they have laid out all the tasks, documents, spreadsheets and the complete project for a project management improvement program. We’ve taken it one step further and compiled a MS-Project file that contains all of the PMBOK steps a’la 2012 edition.

For ease-of-use and for your convenience and our own, we have compressed all the files and the project into a single file, the Project Management Improvement Project. The added benefit to this is that all phases of the then existing PMBOK are included in this package and the Project Management Improvement project is fully defined and documented. This means less work for you and a quicker start.

For those that are just starting out with Project Management this can provide a base of documents from which you can grow.
